Empty miles are a solved problem

Carriers should not run empty. Brokers should not pay for a load board and a separate vetting tool. And the standard way the two are matched is dated and widely resented. DeadHeader exists to flip all three.

The problem

Auto transport runs on a board built around brokers posting freight and carriers chasing it. The carrier with empty space drives back deadhead while a broker three states away is hunting for exactly that capacity. The two never meet until someone refreshes at the right second.

The approach

Turn the board around. Let carriers post the trips they are already running, with a price on each open spot, and let brokers browse that real capacity and book it. Then put the vetting where the decision is made - live FMCSA data, continuous monitoring, and a per-hire due-diligence record on every carrier - instead of in a second subscription.

The result

Carriers sell the miles they were going to drive anyway. Brokers find vetted capacity and walk away with the paper trail to prove they did their diligence. One tool instead of two, and a market that finally runs in the right direction.

The company

DeadHeader is built and operated by DeadHeader Inc., a Florida company.
